Does Marketing Have to Cost a Ton of Money?

How Much is Your Time Worth?
With the world at your fingertips with no boundaries, no restrictions, and in real time, marketing doesn't have to cost a dime. With Social Media Marketing and the use of free platforms and utilities, the only investment you need to give is time.
Considering less people pick up the phone book to find what what they are seeking than ever before and instead turn to the web, it would be a wise investment to have your brand scattered all across the web. Well, sort of. You must still target your audience or you will be just spinning your wheels through wasted efforts. It's not enough just to post, you must post to those who want to read what you have to say. How do you know where to do that? How do you know what to say? How do you know what to do to keep the communications going?
As they say the most powerful form of marketing is word of mouth marketing. I say that is absolutely true, but when you are able to get positive word of mouth marketing going on the web virally through Social Media Marketing, you are in a completely new arena. With this media scape, there is no faster way to get the word out than through the user-generated social media sites such as facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. There's no better means of interacting with and building a direct relationship with your audience than through two-way communications that offers, welcomes, and thrives on their feedback as well. But again... how and where do you start?
The first order of business is to spend some time nosing around these sites and going through some of the ropes to get some familiarity with the platforms. Watch other users who are successful to see what they are doing. Test the waters a bit yourself.
The second order of business is to seek out advice from a pro. Be careful who you listen to on effective social media marketing or you will just end up spending many hours vamped in an online black hole with no return on your time. It is wise to learn from someone who knows not just social media, not just these top social media sites, but human nature as well.
The third order of business is to apply what you have learned directly into your social media marketing tactics while keeping your audience in mind the whole time, of course. A major advantage of these social media sites is that the puzzle pieces are already laid out for you, you just need to put them together. There is no better way to know what your audience wants than to have them tell you themselves.
You can't deliver a good or service if no one is seeking it. If there is no interest, there is no sale. Doesn't it make sense to see what your target audience is wanting first -- then deliver. Filling an existing need can make you successful. Trying to fill a need that doesn't exist will make you fail. Remember, the cart comes before the horse. Not the other way around.
Now that you have a game plan, it's time to start the execution. Did you know that the most sough after social media eBook available is being given away free right now? Simon U Ford, the social media guru, is giving his eBook away for free with no strings attached. How cool is that?
He is an Australian gent with an oh-so-cool accent has completely mastered the ins and outs of social media. Hands down, you will not find anyone more knowledgeable or more passionate about this media. Nor will you find such a visionary. Simon has studied not just the online trends, not just the top social media sites, not just online relationships, but human nature at large. And he has tested and proven his methods time and time again. Many are saying his teachings are better than even StomperNet's -- who is known as the top dog of internet marketing. Simon seems to be fast coming the top dog instead. Again, many say he already is. Myself included.
Grab your free copy here today bit.ly/SocialTraffic. You may also consider taking Simon's next social media course starting soon. It's one that not only offers the education you need, but allows you to promote your own business while also earning commission during the course itself. I ask again... how cool is that?
